Shipping & Delivery

How is my order shipped?

Sunday Club orders ship via USPS, using a mix of tracked and untracked services. Which one you get depends on what you ordered and, for shop orders, what you chose at checkout.

Subscription issues

Shipping is included with every subscription — there's nothing to choose at checkout.

Most issues arrive as a flat envelope, tucked in with your regular mail rather than left at your door. These are untracked, and covered by the Sunday Club Delivery Guarantee.

Some shipments arrive in a box or bag instead — your first catch-up bundle, a Premium Season Opener, or any order containing apparel or other items. These always include tracking.

Standard Letter Mail (USPS First Class Mail)

An untracked service, and the way most single issues travel. $1.99, or free on orders of $24.95 and up.

  • Typical delivery is 3–10 business days after shipping
  • In some cases it takes longer, depending on routing and local postal volume
  • This option does not include tracking

Every order shipped by Standard Letter Mail is covered by the Sunday Club Delivery Guarantee. If it hasn't arrived within 10 full business days of your shipping confirmation, we'll send a replacement at no cost.

Tracked Delivery (USPS Ground Advantage)

Available on any shop order. $4.99, or free on orders of $29.95 and up.

  • Typical delivery is 2–5 business days after shipping
  • Includes tracking updates and delivery confirmation

Gift Delivery

The same service as Tracked Delivery, offered separately for gifts. $4.99, or free on orders of $29.95 and up. We'd gently encourage it when you're sending Sunday Club to someone else — you won't be there to check their mailbox, and tracking means you'll know it arrived.

A note on packaging

Orders containing apparel, stationery or other non-paper items always ship tracked, whichever option you select. Free shipping thresholds are calculated on your order subtotal, before any discount.

Shipping confirmations

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with the ship date. If your shipment includes tracking, the details will be in that email. If there's no tracking number, your shipment is untracked — and the Delivery Guarantee applies.

When will my order ship and arrive?

Sunday Club works a little differently to most online orders, so it's worth explaining how the timing fits together.

Shop orders

Orders from the shop are packed and sent within 5 business days. From there it's 3–10 business days in the mail for Standard Letter Mail, or 2–5 for Tracked Delivery.

Subscription issues

Your subscription issues don't ship on your billing date, and this is the part that surprises people most.

Each month's issue mails in waves across the release month — the August issue mails throughout August, and so on. We're a small team packing by hand, and batching this way is what allows us to include shipping in the subscription price rather than charging for it separately.

You'll receive a shipping confirmation on the day your copy actually mails, and your delivery window starts from that date rather than from the beginning of the month.

We aim to have every copy out the door before the month is over. If you haven't heard from us by the last day of the month, please get in touch — something has gone wrong on our end, and we'll make it right.

Joining mid-season

Your first shipment includes any catch-up issues from the current season or year, and usually goes out within a couple of weeks of signing up.

Does my subscription come with tracking?
This depends on the individual shipment rather than on your plan, which we know isn't the most intuitive answer — so here's how it works. Issues that ship on their own arrive as a flat envelope, in with your regular mail. These travel untracked, and they're covered by the Sunday Club Delivery Guarantee. Shipments that need a box or a bag include tracking. That's usually your first catch-up bundle, a Premium Season Opener, or any order containing apparel or other items. Most subscriptions are a mix of the two over the course of a year. How to tell which one you have Check your shipping confirmation. If there's a tracking number, that shipment is tracked. If there isn't, it's untracked — and the Delivery Guarantee applies. A note for Premium subscribers Your Season Opener ships in a box with tracking at the start of each season you're subscribed for. Openers from seasons earlier in the year are included while supplies last.
Why isn't tracking the default?
A fair question, and the honest answer is cost. Standard issues mail as First Class letters — the same class as a personal letter. It's how magazines and newspapers have always been delivered, and it's what allows us to include shipping in the subscription price rather than charging for it on top. Adding tracking to every issue would mean either raising subscription prices or dropping free shipping, and we'd rather do neither. Tracking is always available if you'd prefer it. On shop orders you can select it at checkout, and it's free on orders of $29.95 and up. And every untracked shipment is backed by the Delivery Guarantee. If it hasn't arrived within 10 full business days, we'll send another one free.
What will my order look like when it arrives?

Orders containing only issues usually arrive as a flat envelope, tucked in with your regular mail rather than left at your door. It looks more like a letter than a package, which makes it easy to overlook in a stack of post — and, occasionally, easy to recycle along with the junk mail.

Orders that include apparel or other items ship in a bag or box, and always include tracking.

My order hasn’t arrived yet — what should I do?

First: we're sorry, and we'll get it sorted. Here's how to work out what's happened.

Start with your shipping confirmation email. Your ship date is in there, and your delivery window runs from that date — not from when you ordered, and not from when you were billed. For subscribers, those can be a few weeks apart.

Haven't received a shipping confirmation yet?

Your issue most likely hasn't mailed. Have a look at the Bulletin to see where we are in the month. If it's past the last day of the release month, please get in touch.

Does your confirmation include a tracking number?

Follow it — tracking is always more current than we are. If it hasn't moved in 5 business days, write to us and we'll take it from there.

No tracking number?

Two things resolve most cases, and they're worth trying first:

  1. Have a look in your mail rather than at your door. Untracked issues arrive as a flat envelope alongside your regular post. They're genuinely easy to miss.
  2. Ask anyone else who collects the mail. Housemates, family, a front desk, a building manager.

Then count business days from your ship date.

  • Fewer than 10 — it's still within the normal window. Standard mail sometimes takes the scenic route.
  • 10 or more — your Delivery Guarantee is active, and you can request a free replacement.

And if something feels wrong before then, write to us anyway. We'd much rather hear from you early than have you sitting and wondering.

What is the Sunday Club Delivery Guarantee?

Standard issues travel without tracking, so we back them with a guarantee instead. It's the promise that makes untracked mail work.

If an untracked Sunday Club shipment hasn't reached you within 10 full business days of your shipping confirmation, we'll send a replacement free of charge. No proof, no photos, no back and forth.

What's covered — any shipment sent untracked, whether it's a subscription issue or a shop order.

How to claim — Email help@sundayclub.com with your order number.

What happens next — Once we confirm, your replacement ships within 5 business days.

If we can't replace it — if for some reason we can't replace it, we'll refund it instead.

How long you have — please claim within 45 days of your shipping confirmation date.

Tracked and international orders aren't covered by the Guarantee, simply because tracking already tells us where they went. If a tracked shipment goes astray, write to us at help@sundayclub.com and we'll sort it out just the same.

That's the whole policy. It exists because untracked mail occasionally goes missing, and we don't think that should be your problem to solve.

Can I update my shipping address?

Yes, and the sooner you can tell us the better.

Subscribers — you can update your address yourself at sundayclub.com/account. Because issues mail in monthly batches, changes made by the last day of the month apply to the following month's issue. If you've just moved and this month's copy is already on its way, email us and we'll do what we can to catch it.

Shop orders — if your order hasn't shipped yet, email us and we'll update it. Once it's gone we aren't able to redirect it, but have a look at "My order hasn't arrived" and we'll help from there.

Gift recipients — you don't need an account. Just email us and we'll handle it.

Moving soon? It's worth filing a forwarding order with USPS as well. First Class mail is forwarded, and it covers the gap while our records catch up.

Do you ship internationally?

Subscriptions are U.S.-only for the moment, while we set up fulfillment in Canada and the UK.

Bundles can ship internationally. What's available depends on where you are — visit our bundles page and you'll see everything that ships to your address.

International shipping is carrier-rated and calculated at checkout based on your destination, so we aren't able to quote a flat figure in advance. It is typically the most expensive part of an international order, which is worth knowing before you reach checkout.

International orders always ship tracked, which means they're covered by tracking rather than by the Delivery Guarantee.

How long do I have to report a problem?

45 days from your ship date, for anything at all — missing, damaged, wrong or incomplete.

And if you're outside that window, write to us anyway. We'd rather sort something out than stand on a policy.

Subscriptions & Billing

What is a “Season Pass” and "Annual Pass"?

Sunday Club releases one issue a month, grouped into four themed seasons of three issues each.

Season Pass — one full season: three consecutive monthly issues, billed quarterly. A great choice if you'd like a shorter commitment.

Annual Pass — every issue released in the current calendar year, January through December. Billed once a year, and it works out cheaper per issue.

Both are available as Standard or Premium. Premium adds a Season Opener at the start of each season — a boxed shipment with a Sunday Club Pencil & Sticker Set, curated seasonal extras, and the printed All Games No News(letter).

Joining partway through a season or year? Have a look at "Which issue will my subscription start with?" — you won't miss anything.

Which issue will my subscription start with?

Your subscription always covers the full season or year you're joining, so you'll never start partway through. Anything already released comes to you as catch-up issues in your first shipment.

Season Pass

Your first shipment includes every issue released so far in your current season. The rest arrive each month as they're published.

Say you join in August. August sits in Season 3, which runs July through September. July is already out, so your first shipment has July and August together, and September arrives on its own once it's published.

Annual Pass

Your first shipment includes every issue released so far this calendar year.

Join in August and that's January through August, all in one go. September through December then arrive monthly as they're released.

How catch-up issues arrive

They ship together in one envelope where they fit, and across two mailings if the stack is a thick one. Both are normal. If only part of your first shipment turns up, give it five business days before getting in touch — and if it's still incomplete, email help@sundayclub.com with your order number and which issues did arrive. We'll send the rest free.

When does each Season start and end?

Sunday Club is released in four Seasons each year, with each Season made up of three monthly issues.

Every Sunday Club season is a calendar quarter — three monthly issues.

  • January, February, March
  • April, May, June
  • July, August, September
  • October, November, December

Seasons are numbered continuously rather than starting over each year, so the count keeps climbing. 2026 runs Season 1 through Season 4, and 2027 picks up at Season 5.

Not sure which season you're in? The Bulletin always shows the current one.

Subscribe partway through a season and you'll receive the issues you missed — see "Which issue will my subscription start with?"

When will I be billed for my subscription?

Season Pass (Quarterly Billing)
When you sign up for a Season Pass, you’re charged at checkout for the current season you are joining.

After that, your subscription renews at the start of each new season: in January, April, July, and October of each year.

Each renewal covers the upcoming season’s issues.

Annual Pass (Yearly Billing)
When you sign up for an Annual Pass, you’re charged at checkout for the full year. Your Annual Pass renews once per year and includes all issues released during the current calendar year.

For example:

If you subscribe to an Annual Pass on July 15, your first shipment will include all previously released issues from January–June. You’ll then receive the July issue once it ships, followed by August–December issues as they’re released.

Gift Passes are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew.

What happens if my payment fails?

It happens, and it's usually nothing more than an expired card.

We'll email you and try again over the next few days. You can update your card any time at sundayclub.com/account.

Your subscription stays active while we retry, so you won't lose your place in that month's mailing as long as it's sorted before your issue goes out. If we still can't collect after 3 attempts, we'll pause your subscription and let you know. Nothing is ever cancelled without telling you first.

How often will I receive new issues?

You'll receive a new issue every month.

Whenever a new issue is released, it ships straight to your mailbox so you can enjoy it fresh off the press.

What’s the difference between the Standard and Premium subscriptions?

Premium subscriptions include a Sunday Club Season Opener at the start of each season – a boxed, premium shipment with curated seasonal extras including a Sunday Club Pencil & Sticker Set, a beautifully printed All Games No News(Letter), tracked shipping and plenty of Sunday Club fun.

Is shipping included in the subscription price?

Yes — all subscriptions include free standard home delivery in the U.S.

Premium subscribers will also receive premium tracked shipping on their Season Opener – the first delivery of each season.

Can I buy past issues without subscribing?

Yes! While subscriptions are the best way to ensure you'll get every issue at the best price, we also offer past issues for individual purchase.

Just visit our Shop page to see what’s currently in stock—and if you spot a favorite theme, grab it before it’s gone!

Are Special Editions Included with My Subscription?

Special Edition issues are not included with any of the current Sunday Club subscription options. Special Editions are special releases that fall outside of the standard Sunday Club Series issues.

Cancellations, Returns, Replacements & Exchanges

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes.

You can cancel your Season Pass or Annual Pass at any time through your account (sundayclub.com/account).

  • Cancellations take effect at the next billing period
  • You’ll continue to receive any issues already paid for
  • Once canceled, your subscription will not renew automatically

Please note that Gift Passes do not auto-renew and do not need to be canceled.

If you need help or have questions about your subscription status, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help.

Do you accept returns?

Because Sunday Club is printed, we aren't able to accept returns once an issue has been delivered, and we can't refund change-of-mind purchases.

But if something arrives damaged, incomplete or simply wrong, we'll fix it free. Just let us know within 45 days of your shipping confirmation.

What if my order arrives damaged, wrong or incomplete?

We check every order before it leaves us, so if something's off it almost certainly happened in transit — and we'll put it right.

Email help@sundayclub.com with your order number and tell us what's wrong. A photo helps for damage or a wrong item, but it isn't required, and we won't hold up your replacement waiting for one.

We'll send the correct or undamaged copy free. If for some reason we're unable to replace your copies, we'll refund it instead.

Please let us know within 45 days of your shipping confirmation.

Do you offer refunds?

If for some reason we’re unable to replace a missing, damaged, or incorrect order, we're happy to provide a refund. Because Sunday Club is a printed product, we can’t accept returns or refunds for change-of-mind purchases—but if something goes wrong with your order, we’ll make it right through a replacement or refund if that is not possible.

Gifting & Special Orders

How do I send Sunday Club as a gift?

Enter your recipient's name and address at checkout and we'll mail each issue straight to them. Add a personal message and we'll handwrite it and tuck it in with their first issue.

What they receive — their issues in the mail, plus your message with the first one. No account needed, and nothing from us unless you add their email at checkout. The surprise stays yours to spoil.

What you receive — shipping confirmations, so you'll know when each issue is on its way.

A word on Gift Delivery. It's the same service as Tracked Delivery, and it's free on orders of $29.95 and up. We'd gently encourage choosing it — you won't be there to check their mailbox, and tracking means you'll know it arrived rather than wondering.

Need to change their address? Email us. They don't need an account, and we'll handle it on our end.

Gift Passes are one-time purchases. They don't auto-renew, so you'll never be charged again unless you choose to.

Tip: Sunday Club makes a perfect birthday, holiday, or “just because” surprise for puzzle lovers of all ages.

Can I add a gift message?

Yes! When you place your order, you’ll have the option to include a personal gift message. We’ll handwrite it and include it with the first issue so your recipient knows it’s from you.

Do you offer bulk orders for events or businesses?

Yes! Sunday Club makes a unique and memorable gift for corporate events, client thank-yous, weddings, and more. We offer bulk pricing and can work with you to create the perfect order for your needs.

Just contact us with your quantity and timeline, and we’ll be happy to provide a custom quote.
