Puzzle Architects
The constructors who build the games. Crosswords and minis, logic and word puzzles, riddles, trivia, and formats we haven't seen yet.

Work with us
Each Sunday Club issue is thoughtfully designed by our team of artists, illustrators and puzzle architects. If you make things that help people slow down and smile, come make an issue with us.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We publish a print puzzle newspaper, monthly, with no news in it. That takes puzzle makers, picture makers, and the artists who sit somewhere in between. You don't need to have been published before.
01
The constructors who build the games. Crosswords and minis, logic and word puzzles, riddles, trivia, and formats we haven't seen yet.
02
The artists who fill the pages with pictures. Front cover scenes, puzzle illustrations, comics, and any visual that rewards a slow look.
03
The creatives who give it all a place on the page. Print and graphic design, layout, and the small details that make a newspaper worth holding onto.
HOW IT WORKS
A portfolio link, a few pieces you're proud of, or a finished puzzle. A short note about what you'd love to make is welcome, too.
Every submission is read by our editorial team. If it feels like a fit for an upcoming issue, we'll write back to talk it through.
You'll get a brief, a timeline, and a contributor agreement. Then your work goes to print and into mailboxes across the world.
WHAT TO SEND
Any one of these is plenty to get started. Skip the formal pitch deck, and no need to send everything.
Submit your work
We love to read every submission. Response times vary with our production calendar, and we'll follow up if we'd like to take the next step together.
No. Some of our contributors had never seen their work in print before Sunday Club. We care about the work, not the résumé.
Yes. Everything we publish is original work made by the person submitting it. We're glad to see pieces you've shared on your own site or social channels as examples of your style, but anything we commission or print should be new and yours.
Please do. Some of our favorite pages started as a format we'd never seen before. Send a short description and a small sample, plus a brief "how to play," and we'll take a look.
We're always happy to meet people who love what we do. If you think you'd be a good fit for Sunday Club in any capacity, write to us at hello@sundayclub.com. We'd love to chat.
